YOCSEF had an excellent forum in Changsha on Nov 6 by mean of the great effort of Huaimin, Ji Wang and AC members. Tieniu, Zifeng, Guisi and Zide went there for support. Zhong Chen (from PKU), Xiaofan Zhao (from MOII) and Binxing Fang (from Harbin Univ. of Technology) attended the forum and gave speeches as the keynotes.

In the morning, a seminar was held at National Defense Univ. of Science and Tech (NDUST), six experts gave presents on information security, around 200 people attended the seminar. The forum took place at Tongcheng International Hotel, a five star hotel, more than sixty people were there. The president, vice presidents and SG of Hunan Computer Society went to the forum and the president, Prof. Huowang Chen gave welcoming words. The director of Computer College of NDUST, Prof. Xicheng Lu expressed his point of view on the theme as a keynote.

The forum was organized by NDUST and HNCS, Huaimin and Guisi (unfortunately, Ji Wang was ill at hospital) hosted the forum. All the attendees thought that is a successful forum, and great thanks to CCF and organizers.

Huaimin has plan to organize more in Changsha next year, it has been confirmed by NDUST and HNCS, Huaimin will try to find more young experts as AC members of Changsha, and especially to have a SG for organizing.

On Nov. 7, Huaimin hosted a Shaloo at the Head of Orange Island (Ju Zi Zhou Tou) for free software development strategic in China. The deep discussion was carried out in the morning. Everybody agreed that this topic can be arranged to discuss again in Beijing, such as in March forum, and one of hosts hopefully is Huaimin. Distributed Object Technology is also another topic to be discussed in 2000, Huaimin suggested as well.

All in all, that is a good forum and BJ AC members had a harvest trip.
