The 42nd National Olympiad in Informatics (CCF NOI2025), hosted by CCF and organized by Shaoxing No.1 Middle School, was held from July 12th to 18th, 2025 at Longshan Academy of Shaoxing No.1 Middle School Education Group. This is the third time that NOI has landed in the historic and cultural city of Shaoxing. Young talents in the field of informatics gathered to attend this grand event representing the highest level of youth informatics in China.

This event was attended by teachers and students from 32 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country. The two tests consist of six questions, covering knowledge points such as shortest path, dynamic programming, hashing, line segment tree merging, cardinality sorting, high-dimensional prefix sum, subset rejection, binary division, greed, complex data structures, etc. It not only tests the algorithm depth of the contestants, but also emphasizes the comprehensive evaluation of their programming ability. After two tests, 50 gold medals, 152 silver medals, and 85 bronze medals were ultimately resulted . Among them, Liu Hengxi (Zhenhai Middle School in Ningbo) won the first place of gold medal, while Wulin (Beijing No.11 School) and Zhao Shenghao (Jinhua No.1 Middle School in Zhejiang) tied for the second place of gold medal. According to NOI rules, the top 50 gold medalists from NOI2025 will enter the IOI2026 Chinese national training team for advanced training, and 4 athletes will be selected to represent China in IOI2026.
