FCES 2025 in Changsha

Hosted by China Computer Federation (CCF), organized by CCF Committee on Education, Hunan University, and co organized by Changsha University of Science and Technology and CCF Changsha Chapter, the 9th CCF Future Computer Education Summit (FCES2025) successfully concluded in Changsha, Hunan on July 26, 2025. The summit lasted for 3 days, with over 500 experts, scholars, and business representatives from universities and research institutions gathering in Changsha to explore the innovation and development path of computer education in the era of AI+education.
The plenary have 6 keynote speeches, 1 forum, and 3 viewpoint presentations, presenting high-quality professional reports and viewpoints to audiences; the breakout sessions focuses on 13 topics and explores in depth the development trends of future education from multiple dimensions.
The moderator of panel discussion was Li Kenli, Chairman of FCES2025 Program Committee, CCF Fellow and board member, and Vice President of Hunan University. The topic is "Challenges and Reflections on Talent Cultivation in Colleges and Universities in the Era of Artificial Intelligence". Panelists are Mr. Yang Zongkai, Chairman of Education Digitalization Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Education, former President of Wuhan University of Technology, Mr. Wang Quan, CCF Fellow, Vice President of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, Mr. Guan Haibing, CCF Fellow and board member,Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Mr. Chen Gang, Member of Party Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang University, and they discussed questions: "What new requirements for computer talents in universities in the era of AI?" "What new concepts, methods, and measures available does AI provide for computer talents in universities?" "What new problems and challenges does AI bring to the cultivation of computer talents in universities, and how should we respond.
