The founding meeting of CCF Smart Transportation Branch was held in Beijing on June 10, 2023. More than 40 executive members of CCF ST Branch attended the meeting. Du Yanliang, academician of Shenzhen University & Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, was elected as the first director of CCF Smart Transportation Branch.

Professor Tang Weiqing, CEO of CCF, attended the election meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized the necessity of using computer methods to solve transportation problems and pointed out that the establishment of CCF Smart Transportation Branch will provide a platform for individual and institutions on both computer and transportation at home and abroad. He also expressed his prospects on the development of CCF Smart Transportation Branch, and looked forward to the Smart Transport Branch every progress and success.

Peng Silong, Director of CCF Working Committee on Technical Committees and Leader of the CCF Preparatory Team, presided over the election of the branch's leaders and executive committee members. The initial members of the branch that attended the meeting held a secret ballot in accordance with the CCF Technical Committee Regulations, and elected the members of the first branch's leading organization and 15 executive members through differential election. Academician Du Yanliang was elected as the first director of CCF Smart Transportation Branch.

And Zhao Junhui, Zhang Bo, and Tian Liping were elected as deputy directors, and Li yidong was elected as secretary general of Smart Transportation Branch.
