On March 30, 2021, CCF released 2021 CCF-Huawei Excellent Youth Innovation Fund on HPC in Beijing. The Innovation Fund is a part of CCF Huawei R&D Fund, which jointly initiated by CCF and Huawei, aiming to promote the combination of industrial practice and academic research by integration platform between industry and academia, and support excellent young scholars at home and abroad to carry out leading edge research combining with industry.

2021 Excellent Youth Innovation Fund will include three categories and eight sub-topics:

1. System software and tool chain for large-scale systems;

2. Research on performance engineering and automatic tuning methods and technologies;

3. Research on the application of AI computing power to solve scientific calculation problems.
