Hosted by CCF and organized by Changsha No.1 Middle School, the 37^th CCF National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI 2020) was held in the Changsha No.1 Middle School on 16^th -21^st August, 2020.

There are teachers and students from 27 provinces or autonomous regions participated in the NOI. After two round of competitions, 50 gold medals, 150 silver medals and 56 bronze medals were decided. During the Summer Camp of NOI 2020 held at the same time, 4 people got higher than the fractional line of gold medal, 40 people were above the line of silver medal, and 22 people were above the line of bronze medal. Top 8 teams in NOI 2020 are: 1st Zhejiang, 2^nd Jiangsu, 3^rd Beijing, 4^th Hunan, 5^th Sichuan, 6^th Guangdong, 7^th Fujian, 8^th Shandong.

Affected by the epidemic, the contestants of Chinese team to IOI2020 will be selected out from NOI 2020. After preliminary work, mutual test, centralized test, players communications and thesis defense, finally Zhou Yuyang (Shaoxing No.1 Middle School), Luo Yuxiang (Ningbo Zhenhai Middle School), Jiang Mingrun (No.7 Middle School of Chengdu) and Wang Zhanpeng (No.1 Middle School of Shaoxing) stood out from the competition. They will represent China to participate in IOI2020 to be held in September.
