大数据与商业智能服务
今天,越来越多的企业开始拥抱大数据,并当作高价值原材料来发掘和分析数据,目的是获得更好、更明智和更有效的商业决策,最终提供更好的产品和服务。可以预见,未来大数据将融入到商业服务的方方面面。然而,这里还存在一些关键问题尚没有得到清楚的认识,还有许多挑战需要解决,例如:如何通过大数据分析提供商业智能服务?如何构建可扩展的大数据分析和商业智能服务平台?大数据服务和商业服务如何更好地满足用户的个性化需求?本学术报告会邀请国内外学术界的知名专家和学者就上述问题进行学术研讨,并结合具体案例进行分析。我们期望本次报告会能够有效推动大数据在商业智能领域的发展,提高大家对大数据技术及其应用方面的认识。敬请各位光临指导。

Personalized Preference and Trade-off based Service Selection
Xiaoqing Liu is currently a professor and a director of the McDonnell Douglass Foundation software engineering laboratory in the computer science department at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He was an interim department chair of computer science at the University in 2013. He has been working on software engineering, social computing, service computing, requirements engineering, argumentation and collaborative systems, database, and computer science applications in power systems and advanced manufacturing since 1985. He served as a program committee chair of the 2008 IEEE International Conference on Computer Software and Applications and technical program committee chairs of the 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 annual International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Systems. He has published more than 120 journal and conference papers and book chapters in the above areas. He has participated in more than twenty funded research projects or partnership as a principal investigator or co-principal investigator in the US.
报告提要:
In order that service users get the best service that meet their requirements, they prefer to personalize their non-functional attributes, such as reliability and price. However, the personalization makes it challenging for service providers to completely meet users’ preferences. This is because they have to deal with conflicting non-functional attributes, when selecting services for users. Having this in mind, users may sometimes want to explicitly specify their tradeoffs among non-functional attributes to make their preferences known to service providers. In this talk, we present a novel service selection method, which is based on fuzzy logic, that considers users’ personalized preferences and their trade-offs on non-functional attributes during service selection. The method allows users to represent their elastic non-functional requirements and associated importance using linguistic terms to specify their personalized trade-off strategies. We present examples showing how the service selection framework is used and a prototype with real-world airline services to evaluate the proposed framework’s application.

Dr Jinjun Chen is an Associate Professor from Faculty of Engineering and IT, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He is the Director of Lab for Cloud Computing and Data Intensive Systems at UTS. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Dr Chen’s research interests include cloud computing, big data, distributed systems, workflow management, privacy and security, and related various research topics. His research results have been published in more than 130 papers in international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Service Computing, ACM Transactions on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems, ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology (TOSEM), IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering (TSE), IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), and IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC).
报告提要:
Cloud computing promises an open environment where customers can deploy IT services in pay-as-you-go fashion while saving huge capital investment in their own IT infrastructure. While cloud provides a promising infrastructure for big data applications such as medical data analysis, scalable solutions are on demand for various challenges in terms of supporting big data from cloud computing. In this talk, we will discuss cloud computing, big data applications and scalable solutions by using privacy preservation as the example in general.

交通大数据VS智能交通服务

中国经济的快速发展,加速了城市现代化的各项进程。其中,城市交通的有效疏导,是智慧城市建设过程中的关键环节。随着城市交通数据采集手段的丰富与完善,如何利用现有的交通大数据,实现交通领域中各个应用环节的全面监控与智能引导,直接影响智慧城市建设的各项进程。为此,我们着眼于城市出租车的智能服务环节,利用出租车的GPS信息,从营运线路的实时规划,到营运过程中在线跟踪,再到线路运营的实时纠错,进而全面实现一种智能化的服务模式,并对其中的关键营运环节进行了技术分析。

博士,湖南科技大学计算机学院副教授,副院长,现为YOCSEF长沙副主席,CCF会员,IEEE会员,ACM会员,CCF服务计算专委会委员。2010年1月取得中国科学院计算技术研究计算机应用技术专业博士学位。2012年1月到2013年1月,在美国密苏里科技大学计算机系从事博士后研究工作。主要研究领域包括服务计算、云计算、社会网络等。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、湖南省自然科学基金等科研项目10余项。在国内外重要学术刊物与会议上发表论文60余篇,其中被SCI/EI收录40余篇,参与编写英文专著1部。作为负责人之一制订国家通信行业标准1项。
