The founding meeting of CCF Digital Agriculture Sector was held on August 27, 2022 in Beijing, Suzhou and Changchun. More than 100 first executive members of CCF Digital Agriculture Sector attended the meeting. Academician Zhao Chunjiang, National Agricultural Information Engineering Technology Research Center was elected as the first director of CCF Digital Agriculture Sector.

Gu Qingyi, assistant director of CCF TC committee, and researcher of the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presided over the election of the leading organization and standing members of CCF Digital Agriculture sector. The first batch of executive members of CCF Digital Agriculture sector voted by secret ballot in accordance with the Regulations on the Election of CCF Technical Committee, and elected the leading organization and 14 standing members of the first Digital Agriculture Sector.
